Party donations are an important part of politics. They are an important indicator of political support. We try to present this data clearly and comprehensibly.
The data used here comes from the Office for the Control of the Administration of Political Parties and Political Movements and includes all political donations documented there since 2018 that exceed CZK 25.
This scope also encompasses all contributions to parties or political movements that have either received more than 100 individual donations or surpassed 1 million CZK in total donation amounts, regardless of individual contribution sizes. The data is updated annually.
Donor type detection is based on identifying a donor as an Individual if both firstName and lastName fields are present.
Due to the high number of minor political parties, we only track donations for parties that meet a specific threshold. The current threshold is set at 100 donations or a total of CZK 1M in contributions to that party, regardless of the size of individual donations.

Since 2018, the biggest disclosed single donation in Czech Republic reached CZK 19,690,096.16 from Starostové a nezávislí to Piráti in 2024.
